Webb's 21st Century GI Bill

Senator Webb was on Meet the Press yesterday discussing, among other things, his bill to expand educational benefits for veterans as they return from Iraq (and elsewhere). He made a point that I simply hadn't realized:
No president in history has vetoed a benefits bill for those who served. … The Republican party is on the block here, to clearly demonstrate that they value military service or suffer the consequences of losing the support of people who’ve served. … The president has a choice here to show how much he values military service.
So not only would Bush be the first to veto a benefits bill for the troops, but he'd be doing so at a time of war. And, by the way, John McCain should sign on, as well.
They've more than earned it. Give them the change they deserve.

Senator Webb would be an excellent VP on a Clinton ticket.
Democrats have to resolve MI and FL, and have to reject the Obama campaign insisting these two states should be disenfranchised. Senator Obama will do anything to get nominated even it means not letting the people of MI and FL included in the process.
In spite of whatever propaganda MSNBC and CNN may dish out, if MI and FL are counted, there is no way Senator Obama will be nominated just with pledged delegates. The Superdelegates are just looking at the African Aamerican vote bank as they mull their votes. They are ignoring the Women and the working class White votes at their own peril as they look at their own future.
Superdelegates will be negatively impacted if they throw support behind either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. The best thing for every Superdelegates to do is to automatically assign their vote their state won. That would be the most democtratic way.
Senator Clinton should take it to the convention if there isn't a fair decision from the Democratic party.
