Republicans Vote Against Your Mom

Not just your mom. But my mom. And your mom's mom. In fact, every mother in America.
Republicans, unhappy with the Democratic majority, have been using such procedural tactics as this all week to bring the House to a standstill, but the assault on mothers may have gone too far. House Minority Leader John Boehner, asked yesterday to explain why he and 177 of his colleagues switched their votes, answered: "Oh, we just wanted to make sure that everyone was on record in support of Mother's Day."
By voting against it?

The Republicans needs a good example of morality!
Who would have thought the so called religious right,moral right, and right right would have voted against the woman that gave them life?
Republicans HAVE MOthers? I thought they were spawned underneath very wet rocks !
Oh well they have fallen from grace and the devil made them do it.
The Republicans need the Rev. Wright to teach them a good lesson in love towards all mothers and all of mankind and how to live a pure life free from hate and grudges against all those that hurt others in the past.

Boehner decided to stop the House from working at all. As House Democrats tried to pass legislation to ease the mortgage crisis on Wednesday, Republicans served up hours of procedural delays, demanding a score of roll call votes: 10 motions to adjourn, half a dozen motions to reconsider, various and sundry amendments, a motion to approve the daily journal, a motion to instruct and a "motion to rise."
Could there be a commercial in this? Your republican representatives hard at work, doing nothing.
Boehner is definitely a embarrassment to my state with his political grandstanding and constant kissing up to the tyrant Bush and his criminal regime. I never Republicans would stoop so low to vote against Mother's Day as well as legislation that can help people. At least we are seeing the true colors of the Republican party. These greedy right-wing hypocrites have sold us out to do the bidding of executives and the right wing extremists of this country. But I should have known that Republicans have no heart and don't have a conscience.
